Power and Control for Demanding Lifts
Heavy equipment lifting requires more than raw power. The weight and dimensions of the equipment, required boom reach, available working space, ground conditions and final placement must all be considered before the lift begins.
Our operators evaluate each project and develop a lifting plan based on the equipment and site. We then coordinate the appropriate rotator, rigging, support vehicles and personnel needed to complete the work safely and efficiently.
Heavy Equipment Lifting May Be Needed For:
- Loading and unloading construction machinery
- Placing industrial equipment
- Moving machinery within a facility or job site
- Lifting equipment for repair or maintenance
- Recovering damaged or disabled equipment
- Removing machinery from restricted-access areas
- Transferring equipment between trailers
- Repositioning overturned or unstable equipment
Construction Equipment Lifting
Construction machinery may need to be lifted for delivery, repositioning, transport or recovery. Our rotator wreckers can assist at construction sites, equipment yards, commercial properties and roadway projects.
Construction Equipment We Lift Includes:
- Excavators and backhoes
- Bulldozers and dozers
- Wheel loaders and crawler loaders
- Skid steer loaders
- Trenchers and motor graders
- Road rollers and compactors
- Pavers and road-making equipment
- Forklifts, telehandlers and boom lifts
Industrial Machinery Lifting
Industrial equipment can be extremely heavy, sensitive and difficult to access. Goch & Sons Towing works with facility managers, manufacturers, contractors and equipment specialists to lift machinery and commercial components at factories, warehouses and industrial properties.
Depending on the site, a rotator may be able to operate in a restricted working area where conventional crane access is limited. Indoor and restricted-access lifting projects require advance evaluation to confirm adequate clearance, ventilation, floor capacity and safe equipment positioning.
Industrial Equipment We Lift Includes:
- Manufacturing machinery
- Generators and compressors
- Heavy-duty pumps
- Forklifts and material-handling equipment
- Commercial HVAC equipment
- Industrial components and assemblies
- Trailers and containers
- Other oversized machinery
Commercial HVAC and Rooftop Equipment Lifting
Installing or replacing a rooftop HVAC unit often requires equipment capable of lifting the unit from the ground and positioning it accurately on the roof. Our rotator operators assist HVAC contractors and property representatives with commercial and residential rooftop lifts.
Before the project, we consider the equipment’s weight and dimensions, required height and reach, truck placement, overhead obstructions and access to the work area.
Rotator Services for Heavy Equipment
Our rotator wreckers combine high-capacity lifting with a boom capable of rotating 360 degrees. This allows the truck to remain securely positioned while lifting equipment from the side or at another angle.
Our largest rotator has a rated capacity of up to 75 tons. Actual lifting capacity depends on boom position, reach, rigging, equipment configuration and site conditions. Every lift is evaluated individually before work begins.
Rotator Advantages Include:
- Controlled lifting and lowering
- Multiple lifting angles
- Extended reach for difficult locations
- Precise equipment positioning
- Capability for restricted-access projects
- Heavy lifting and recovery from one vehicle
Loading and Unloading Heavy Equipment
Heavy machinery may require lifting assistance when conventional loading ramps are not available or the equipment cannot move under its own power. Our team can lift equipment onto or off trailers for delivery, repair, relocation or storage.
We can also coordinate lifting with Landoll, detachable gooseneck and other heavy-haul trailers when the project includes transportation to another location.
Emergency Heavy Equipment Lifting
Accidents, mechanical failures and unstable ground can leave construction or industrial equipment overturned, damaged or inaccessible. Our 24/7 dispatch team coordinates emergency lifting and recovery for machinery at job sites, commercial properties and roadside locations.
Emergency Lifting May Be Required For:
- Overturned construction equipment
- Machinery stuck in mud or soft ground
- Equipment located in ditches or embankments
- Damaged machinery blocking access
- Equipment involved in a roadway accident
- Unstable equipment requiring controlled repositioning
